Life beyond wheat does exist! And it is an adventure...

Unfamiliar ingredients such as sorghum, tapioca, rice, chickpea, quinoa and more, are freshly stone ground and come together in truly delicious cakes, muffins, breads, biscuits and rusks. And they are enjoyed by all.

There is no reason why any intolerance should deprive you of a treat, whether you are celiac, diabetic, wheat/gluten intolerant, lactose intolerant or just trying to avoid all the preservatives present in so many of today's readily available products.

The following cakes (all gluten free) have become firm favourites and are regularly available at the Market on a Saturday:

But if wheat/rye is not a problem, German style sourdough (sauerteig) wheat & rye breads are also available - all made from freshly stone ground flour to ensure you benefit from the goodness of the whole grain. No added preservatives.

You will also find a large variety of jams and marmalades to enjoy with your bread, be it the wheat or wheat free variety!
